Who we are

Dezigndia Technologies ("Dezigndia", "we") operates dezigndia.com. We are a technology consulting and product engineering company registered in India, with offices in Kolkata, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Bengaluru. For anything in this policy, write to connect@dezigndia.com.

What we collect, and why

Contact and enquiry forms

If you use the contact form or a short enquiry form on a service, capability, platform or case study page, we collect what you enter (name, email address, company where asked, and your message), plus the page you sent it from and the time. We use these to reply to you and, if the conversation continues, to manage that relationship. The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.

Form submissions are stored in our customer relationship system, Zoho CRM, which acts as a processor on our behalf. Submissions pass through Cloudflare, which hosts this site, and are checked by Cloudflare Turnstile to filter automated abuse. Turnstile may process your IP address and browser characteristics for that purpose.

How you found us

When you submit any form, we also record how you first arrived on the site: the first page you landed on, the website that referred you, any campaign tags in that link (such as utm_source), and the country your connection comes from, as reported by Cloudflare from your IP address. Your browser keeps the first-visit details in local storage for up to 90 days so they can be attached to a later enquiry. They are sent to us only if you submit a form. We use them to understand which pages and channels bring useful conversations.

Newsletter

If you subscribe, we keep your email address to send the newsletter, roughly once a month. The legal basis is your consent. Every issue has an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to be removed.

Case study PDFs

If you ask for a case study PDF, we use your work email address to send it and record the request in Zoho CRM. We may follow up once about that case study. We do not add you to the newsletter unless you subscribe separately. Emails are sent through Resend, which acts as a processor on our behalf.

Chat

The chat button on some pages loads Tawk.to only after you click it. Until then nothing from Tawk.to runs on your device. If you open a chat, Tawk.to sets cookies to keep the conversation open and records what you type. Tawk.to acts as a processor on our behalf. If you never click the button, none of this happens.

Booking a call

"Book a call" links go to Calendly, a separate service with its own privacy policy. We receive the details you enter there so we can hold the meeting.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are read, which forms are used and which calls to action work. It uses cookies and processes an identifier for your browser, your approximate location and the pages you view. IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4. We have turned off advertising features, Google signals and data sharing for ads, and we do not use the data to identify you.

We use Google Consent Mode. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, analytics cookies are off until you choose Accept in the banner, and nothing is stored if you choose Decline. In that state Google may receive cookieless signals (for example that a page was viewed) that cannot be linked to you. Elsewhere, analytics is on by default and you can turn it off with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, where that link is shown, or by using your browser's privacy controls. The legal basis in Europe is your consent; elsewhere it is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used.

Cloudflare, which hosts the site, also produces aggregate traffic statistics without cookies.

Preferences

Your analytics choice is stored in your own browser (local storage) so we do not ask again.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal data. We do not run advertising or advertising trackers, and we do not use analytics data for ad targeting. We do not load third-party scripts beyond the ones named above, and we do not combine your data with data bought from elsewhere.

Cookies

• Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*): distinguishes visits, up to 13 months. Set only with consent in Europe.
• Tawk.to: keeps a chat open. Set only if you open a chat.
• Cloudflare Turnstile: anti-abuse check. Set only when you use a form.

Local storage (not cookies) holds your analytics choice and the first-visit details described under "How you found us". You can clear both at any time in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

Contact enquiries and PDF requests that do not lead to a working relationship are deleted from our CRM within 24 months of the last contact. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months. Where a relationship does begin, we keep records for the duration of the engagement and for the period required by Indian accounting and tax law afterwards. Chat transcripts are retained by Tawk.to for up to 12 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Where it is processed

We are based in India. Cloudflare, Zoho, Google, Resend, Tawk.to and Calendly may process data in the United States, the EU and other regions under their own safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where those apply. If you are in the EU, the UK, Australia, New Zealand or Canada, your data will be transferred to India when we read and respond to your enquiry.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting what was done before. To exercise any of these, email connect@dezigndia.com. We respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK and are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to your local supervisory authority.

Children

This site is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes to what we collect will be noted here for at least 30 days.
