A Leading Construction & Infrastructure Enterprise delivers complex projects across multiple geographies and operating environments. Each project depends on a growing network of vendors, suppliers, contractors and stakeholders, and every one of them has to be onboarded, contracted, kept compliant and coordinated.

The company needed a platform that could support procurement, resource coordination, vendor engagement and project execution at that scale, and that gave leadership a view across all of it.

The challenge

What was breaking.

Vendor and supply chain activity ran through a combination of spreadsheets, emails, manual approvals and disconnected systems. Visibility across procurement workflows and vendor activity was poor. Project teams waited on approvals, communication with vendors was inconsistent, and the real-time information needed for decisions on site was not available. Each new project added complexity faster than the process could absorb it.

The same problems repeated at every location. A supplier cleared to work on one site had to be cleared again for the next, a purchase request approved in one region followed a different path in another, and the head office view of the supply chain was assembled from status reports after the fact.

How we went at it.

Dezigndia developed a supply chain modernization strategy with three aims: improve operational visibility, simplify vendor interactions, and take the manual steps out of procurement. The center of it was a single operational platform connecting vendors, project teams, procurement stakeholders and leadership, so that the same record of a supplier, a purchase request or a compliance document is seen by everyone who needs it.

The objective was a scalable vendor management and supply chain platform that improves operational efficiency, strengthens vendor collaboration and gives real-time visibility into project and procurement activity.

Supply chain dashboard

Real-time monitoring of procurement status, vendor performance, resource allocation and operational KPIs, so a project manager can see whether a supplier is on track before the site runs short.

Project collaboration portal

A shared workspace for communication and coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders, replacing email threads and phone calls with a record of who asked for what and when.

Document and compliance management

Central management of contracts, certifications, compliance records and project documentation, with status visible so that a lapsed certification is caught before a contractor is on site.

Reporting and analytics platform

Operational reporting on vendor performance, procurement efficiency and project execution metrics for the people accountable for delivery.
